I tried to root with magisk, I patched the recovery.img because the boot.img doesn't have a ramdisk. You have to reboot to recovery for root to work but it has a problem with mounting the nvram partition when rooted and there is no IMEI. If you reboot normal with no root the IMEI is back.- YT5760B 8259 and 8257 is probably same? xyauto just change the name in firmware. Maybe chip maker insist higher number? ...
