You can make Umbral builds with up to 2 Umbral mods without the need of Umbral Formas, only on rare cases where a frame actually requires all 3 mods that you will need an Umbral Forma. Wish they were a bit more accessible, maybe 1 a week/month but nothing you can continuously farm for daily. Form a 3/3 Umbral perspective: Atlas, Chroma, Excalibur, Khora, Nezha, Nidus, Oberon, Valkyr are all going to get the most from 3/3 Umbral because each of these frames you would consider using all of the non-Umbral varieties.
