Underrail: Expedition - Throwing knife only build on Dominating.No weapons, damage grenades, gas grenades, caltrops, mines or damage psi. Just throwing knive...The gist is build for dex/agi unnamed strikes focus - you want as many attacks per round as possible. Take psychokinesis and Force User. Your psi-boosted machine gun punches hit like a truck, you have two ranged stun powers, electro-trap, implosion chunks bosses hard.Underrail rocks for allowing creative gameplay like this. This is why Laser rules: your range allows you to ambush enemies at the other side of fire zone, you also don't need to move much and will get sharpshooter bonus more often. Ambush is rather tricky. Sometimes it wont work where you think it should.

Here is my idea of a Gun Fu build. This build has high initiative with gunslinger, trigger happy and max dexterity and high dodge and evasion. I feel the core of this build is Versatility, Gun Fu, Hit and Run, Bullet time, Gunslinger, Future Orientation, Psycho-temporal Acceleration. All perception checks, all persuasion checks, all agility checks, and all relevant mercantile checks. Plus all the crafting checks. This is NOT a build for hard+ and while it might work I have a different build for it this one is based off of.
Using the build calculator, you can see you can get, by level 28 (easily attained if you were scrutinous enough with oddities): 14 STR (12 base + Veteran Increased Strenght feat) 10 CON. 7 WILL. 6 AGI. 5 INT. 3 PER and DEX. The conundrum lies on rolling with 5 INT but 3 WILL or 3 INT but 5 WILLat the start of the game.Abuse line of sight. You can trigger a mini burst per shell when you stand 1 tile away from your closest target but you'll lose the barrel stare bonus. I find this build is pretty strong and perform the same, if not better, than my 5AP per punch psi-monk build. Only my pure psi builds are undeniably stronger than this build.Personally I feel the tutorial area should let you respec at the end, and also give you a couple extra combat encounters for you to test various weapon types (make you use guns, melee, crossbows etc). With 50 AP you have these possibilities: a.) 10 times with the bare fists which is too weak. b.) 5 times with metal gloves which is good damage but too few hits. c.) 4 times with bare fists and 3 times with metal gloves which gives best damage with most hits: 5+5+10+5+5+10+10=50.3 will. 7 int. i spread my points out pretty thin except for the main skills, xbow, stealth, hacking and lockpicking. other skils are throwing, traps, biology, mechanics, electronics and tailoring. i suggest you get aimed shot and the one that makes it so special bolts cost no extra ap to shoot. #8.

Also crit energy machete is single target and an electrical machete for AOE works best. You need decent int for it though.
