Discontinued product. For a while you could buy a P226 or P229 slide with a Romeo 1 milled in and suppressor sights for less than you could ever get all 3 things separately. You could also buy a P226 RX model. The only Sig P226 with an RX cut still in production is the Legion. Sig doesn't care too much about legacy guns going forward. If you mill the slide for what sounds like a potentially valuable gun you will decrease it's value. Now that Sig is making 226 X guns in the US, I'd wait and see if they start producing slides that are optic ready. The red dot wave is here and I don't think Sig is going to miss the opportunity! May 19, 2020 · 17 (100%) I have had a 226 and 229 cut for an RMR by Mark at L&M-highly recommended and I am very satisfied. I also had a 229 done by ATEi. ATEi left recoil bosses (as much as they could given the curved top of the slide), and L&M simply milled the area flat, but both have been just fine. 05-22-20, 18:44 #7. Step #2 - Using a 1/16 punch, push the pin out by lightly tapping the punch with a small hammer.
