Its not a hot take. My opinion is its the scariest movie Ive seen since the first Conjuring. I dont find movies like the Exorcist scary at all. A fascinating and excellent âŚOff the top of my head, I know Hereditary had me checking the dark corners as I fell asleep and The Strangers had me sleeping on the floor of my parents room after I saw it the first time in early high school over a decade ago (my bedroom window looked RIGHT into the deep woods).
