You'll want to wait until level 50 (or more specifically, after the warrior fight in TVHM) to do sidequests with rewards you want. All the side quests will scale up to level 50 (including rewards) after the TVHM Warrior fight, so you should get the quest rewards you want then as preparation for UVHM.
