Response to intervention (RtI) In the US, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act was reauthorised in 2004. The reauthorised act was closely associated with the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) (Citation 2002), which encouraged schools to use an RtI-model to identify and support students with learning difficulties (Fuchs & Fuchs, Citation 2006).

The U.S. government recognizes three levels of security clearance: confidential, secret, and top secret. Using a federally mandated rubric, government officials classify documents in one of those levels. Candidates can receive clearance for information up to the level for which they qualify.The tiered system described below is heavily inspired by the method briefly laid out in Education for All (2005), and later refined as part of Learning for All (2013).
