The research being conducted in structural mechanics is very diverse. Some of the current projects focus on various aspects of anisotropic, stochastic, linear and nonlinear viscoelastics, others focus on hierarchical learning networks, solid propellant and filament-wound rock cases, and thick thermosetting matrix composite manufacturing.
