Sometimes I put my baby in an all in one ( no feet) snowsuit type thing and wear her over my coat.I have an Angelwings softshell jacket and it was 100% worth it until my child started walking more independently. It can also accommodate back wearing. That specific jacket isn't waterproof like a real rain jacket, but it was fine for a light drizzle. With baby on me it was plenty warm enough too. Mamalila is another good brand.I have a 7 lb newborn and really would like to baby wearing her. I use the moby wrap right now but want something easier and faster. I’m debating on the two carriers in the title. My thing is I’m realistically not going to be baby wearing as often after she starts walking and wants to walk and not be contained.
