Essentially, P3497 is set when the PCM commands the solenoid on and but doesn't get a pressure switch closed signal back from the rocker arm pressure switch. It looked low so I added some oil and cleared the code. The code hasn't come back, but I have noticed that if I haven't driven my Ody for a while and start driving again, the ECO mode doesn't start coming on while driving until 10-15 minutes into a trip. Then if I stop for a short time and drive again, ECO will engage right away. ….
