The valve cover bolts torque down to 177 in-lbs or about 15 ft-lbs and then an additional 180 degree turn in a criss cross order. Be sure not to miss any bolts to avoid having oil leak out onto the exhaust pipes and cause a lot of smoking. This will always set a gasket so it will seal the best. The more intensive to replace the gasket the more steps I take. A head gasket gets at least 5 steps.
