You can't get the megashark without defeating the destroyer, but I would say the storm bow would be the best weapon you can have for the mechanical bosses. I like megashark plus crystal bullets for skeletron. Definitely use stormbow plus holy arrows for the destroyer.I was getting like 12 keys before I started to kill them.
