T. txOdy123 Discussion starter · Dec 26, 2015. Hi all, I've looked over this form and elsewhere and I'm finding the recommended torque spec for lug nuts to be anywhere between 80 - 95 ft-lbs. My manual only states to torque to 94 ft-lbs for the spare tire, but makes no mention for non-spares. What's the current recommendation - 95 ft-lbs?Are you sure the torque spec for the oil drain plug is 22 ft-lbs for a 2015 Honda Odyssey? When I initially googled for the specs, I was finding 33 ft-lbs and 29 ft-lbs. As long as you are applying the same amount of torque to all 4/5 lugs you will be fine. I can only recommend what I use and I got used calibrated snap-on wrenches from ebay and have been more than happy with them. McGard is the supplier, it is on the info card inside the box the locking nuts came with. The dealer should be torquing your lug nuts to 95 ft-lbs, not 80.
