Three coprolite fossils in siderite concretions were prepared for analysis . The samples used in this study were obtained from the Chicago Field Museum. Samples had previously been collected from the Pit 11 coal strip mine in Kankakee County, Illinois, from the Francis Creek Shale Member of the Carbondale Formation.Fossil Collectors.
