It seems the last step requires a lot of grinding that can use a combination of law and poetics. Might be better to spend the little extra time doing these sync'd to get the tome rewards. Snowcloak solo as a Scholar is pretty rough. Party is recommended for all the 2.5 dungeons for sure.
