Edit: restarted my computer and it was fixed. Yeah, Uplay is a pile of shit. I get this all the time and nothing I do fixes it. When I get this, I just open task manager and kill uplay. I know this is a couple of weeks old, but another solution I found is opening Ubisoft Connect, go offline, then go online.Right click on the start button of your computer. Select Task manager from the appeared menu. Locate the Uplay processes one by one. (Also the Ubisoft processes) Select the processes and click on End task.
