Slowly rotate top backward and lean against wall, or support with a prop rod. 5. Disconnect the door switch wire harness located on the right side. 6.Unplug the range. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance at the disconnect plug at the back of the range or trace the wires to the control board and locate two violet wires at connector 3 (disconnect the plug). At room temperature you should have approximately 1080 Ohms.6) Dry a few loads until the water is clear. 7) Remove the hose again, and reinstall the check valve/spring/retainer. 8) Install the hose, and cross your fingers. Hopefully the F9 E1 codes will be gone. I'll come back here after my next dryer cleaning day, and post a photo or two of the check valve.
