I filled out the full Mage tree to the +5 spellpower bonus, filled out all of Blood Magic, filled out all of Spirit Healing, then grabbed Death Cloud and Crushing Prison, which should still leave you with a few talents left over to pick up (tomes and a few more level ups). Blood mage has the best aoe / CC in the game. Vs mobs you can earthquake into a Blood Wound or something, 2nd caster gets blizzard off. Between a freeze, a knock down and a stun nothing is getting to you. And yeah Cunning Rogue can do highest dps but that involves walking into your CC circle of death.
