They have to fit the “frontlight” stipulation in there because the Remarkable 2 is in fact 1.1mm thinner, but it lacks a light. Hello. I am undecided between a Supernote A5 X and a Boox Note Air 2: I mainly need a tablet to write notes during conferences, take notes on pdfs of scientific papers and synchronize them with program accessible via computer. I have watched a few videos of the DeepGuide Youtube channel but still I have some doubts.

It turns out that I ordered my Supernote A5X exactly two years ago today. This video offers a completely "off the cuff" and an informal look back at my exper...In fact I switched to the Boox pen immediately. And the magnets are better so it stays attached better. The UI of the note taking app has improved dramatically. Too much to mention. Conclusion: If you are thinking about buying the Boox Note Air, get the new one, the Boox Note Air 2.The reMarkable has much less functionality, but everything about it from hardware to OS to UI is made towards a single purpose, a great (but limited) digital paper experience. The Boox can do anything I want it too, but ends feeling more like a crappy android tablet experience than an overly capable e-ink device.
