Early on, katanas are really good, later in the game, tho, I tend to switch to big ol' Heavies or Hackers, depending on the target.The Plank is probably the best well rounded heavy weapon, "faster" than the axe and not too far behind the Sun because of its weight. It's damage is balanced between cut (i.e. unarmored opponents) and blunt (i.e. armored opponents).
