Jul 23, 2019 · Assaf Evron Jul 23, 2019 – Mar 1, 2020 The MCA is pleased to present the first solo US museum exhibition of work by Assaf Evron (Israeli, b. 1977). Running concurrently with the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the exhibition features new and recent works that dwell at the interstice of architecture, ornamentation, place, and image. The façade has three registers of windows—monumental upper ones, the man-sized middle windows, and the half-sized bottom windows, which are below the raised floor of the main space, basement windows really. Evron captured what looks like a sunset gradient in them: turquois turning by and by to the unlikeliest shade of orange pink.
