Purpose The objectives of our Fraternity are the promotion of growth in character, unity of feeling, sisterly affection and social communion among our members.The Boy Scouts of America and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity have goals and objectives which make for a “natural alliance” between the two organizations. Through this alliance, the two organizations are achieving their goals by utilizing the Scouting program to its greatest potential as a programming resource. In 1956, Alpha Phi became one of the first women’s fraternities to establish a Foundation. It was created as a trust agreement to award scholarships and promote cardiac aid.
