The diminishing returns kick in at 110 agl, ironically you'd need 111 for another iframe during rolls, but the investment necessary for that is very unreasonable for non-sl800-heros. So don't go over 105. Lots of people don't give the game a chance because the hit detection feels awful. The hit detection is actually fine, you just have no iframes. In dark souls 3 you have 13 iframes under 30% equip load and 12 under 70%. To have the same in ds2 you need 99 agility (for 12) or 105 agility (for 13).
If you make a build that is heavy on spell casting, you'd naturally want high ATN for high number of spell slots, so ADP would not be needed (in general) to reach the desired level of Agility. Don't forget that ATN also raises the casting speed. Very important.
