Step 1. Let's start our InDesign book layout template. Open InDesign and go to File > New > Document. Choose Print from the options at the top of the New Document window. Set the Width of the page to 5 in and Height to 8 in. Increase the Number of Pages to 16 (you can always add more later).Click the Bulleted List button or the Numbered List button in the Control panel (in Paragraph mode).
