You can get away with the 429s but it's not ideal. The sights don't sit too high up. I would think the 470s would be too tall for most holsters. I've got the C&H precision plate on my MOS and the 429s are more usable than they were with the factory plate.That sounds like you got a refurbish/used model of some sort. I know Holosun started selling the 508t without the rail mount, but I think the 507 still comes with them.
